Special Events

The Junior League of Huntsville hosts three public fundraising events annually. Your support of these fun and unique events allows us to further our mission and enhances our ability to provide quality community services projects and trained volunteers who serve the needs of the Huntsville/Madison County community.

Cider Celebration

The Junior League of Huntsville will host its inaugural Cider Celebration on September 21st from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to celebrate the beginning of the 46th Apple Annie Fundraiser Season! This fundraiser generates funds that the Junior League of Huntsville will use to support our community in the form awarding community assistance grants to other non-profit organizations.

Apple Annie

One of Huntsville’s longest-running fundraisers, don’t be surprised to see JLH members in red tights selling and delivering apples around town during Apple Annie Week this October. You can preorder crates and half-crates of Honeycrisp and Red Delicious apples as well as sponsor classroom apple deliveries. We provide an apple to every elementary student in Huntsville City, Madison City, and Madison County – that’s over 30,000 apples donated!

Children’s Author Interactive Storytime with Eric Litwin

Eric Litwin, author of the “Pete The Cat” Series of Books, will join the Junior League of Huntsville for an amazing event that you won’t want to miss. Save the date: Saturday, April 7, 2018!
