Special Events

The Junior League of Huntsville hosts two public fundraising events annually. Your support of these fun and unique events allows us to further our mission and enhances our ability to provide quality community services projects and trained volunteers who serve the needs of the Huntsville/Madison County community.

Apple Annie

Apple Annie may look a little different during our 50th year as we have adapted to ensure the safety and health of our members, sponsors, and apple recipients, but rest assured that Apple Annie Day will go on! Have Honey Crisp, Golden Delicious, and Granny Smith apples delivered through contactless delivery right to your door or pick up on October 23rd and celebrate Apple Annie Day with us!

Apple Annie sales directly support our mission, including our community programs like Butterfly Project, Girls, Inc., and Children First. Proceeds also fund leadership training and development for our members and community grants for local nonprofit partners and agencies.  Learn more about Apple Annie sponsorship levels here. To order a basket, crate, or half crate of Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, or a mix of both, visit our order page here.

The Book Ball

Inspired by Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale, the 4th Annual Book Ball will be an exciting and fun evening hosted at the Huntsville Museum of Art. With dinner, drinks, dancing, gaming and a high stakes silent auction, it is sure to be a rewarding night.
