The Junior League of Huntsville, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Women around the world as catalysts for lasting community change.
Diversity and Inclusion
We welcome all women who value our Mission. We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations and communities.
The Junior League of Huntsville partners with other local organizations whose programs complement our Mission and who share a passion for our current literacy focus areas. As the needs in our community are ever growing, the Junior League of Huntsville continues to explore programs and partnerships that meet our focus area and that offer the best fit for our financial and volunteer resources.
The Junior League of Huntsville raises money throughout the year to fund various community service projects and programs as well as internal member training initiatives. We host a number of special fundraising events that are open to the public and an Annual Giving Campaign. The 2017-18 special fundraising events are:
- Apple Annie Cider Celebration Party – September 21st, 2017
- 46th Apple Annie Day – Friday, October 27, 2017
- Children’s Author Interactive Storytime with Eric Litwin of the “Pete The Cat” Series of Books – Saturday, April 7, 2018
