Butterfly Project

The Butterfly Project recognizes young women during their senior year in high school who show commitment to academia, exhibit leadership qualities, and demonstrate an ability to persevere in the face of hardship.

The girls who are selected get to shop at the Butterfly Boutique and take home a dress, shoes, jewelry, a handbag, and other accessories for prom night. A handful of the total Butterfly winners will ultimately be awarded Monarch Scholarships to further their educations. These deserving young women receive not only a prom night transformation but also an education to transform their lives forever. It is our hope that as these future leaders are recognized and rewarded for their initiative and drive they will feel inspired to strive for even higher goals and they will learn the value of philanthropic service.

This year JLH will be hosting our 17th Butterfly Project with over 100 local high school seniors participating from Huntsville City Schools, Madison City Schools, Madison County Schools and Limestone County Schools.
