Nominating is seeking 2 active and 1 sustaining member to self nominate to serve on a panel to review scholarship application and business pitches.

The JLH and Catalyst have joined to offer training and scholarship awards to women entrepreneurs.

Here is a description and tentative schedule of events:

Scholarship Application Process

• Applications will be provided to applicants via an online application on The Catalyst website.
• Scholarship Application deadline will be 11:59 PM Central Time on April 15, 2022.

Business Pitch Process for PY 2022

• All pitches will be scheduled via Zoom by The Catalyst.
• All Scholarship Committee members will be invited; all members who can attend, should attend to create a more “realistic” experience for the candidate.
• The live Business Pitch presentation will be recorded via Zoom and distributed to the Scholarship Committee for review; candidates will be informed that they will need to be available for questions from any Scholarship Committee members not present.
• Scholarship Committee will meet at a later time to review all Business Pitches/Candidates.
• Candidate will receive notification of either: successful completion of their application or additional questions and a request to set up a new time to meet.

Scholarship Committee

The Scholarship Committee consists of the following and will be solely responsible for determining the scholarship recipient each year:

• 2 JLH Board/Management Team Members
• 2 JLH Members
• 1 JLH Sustainer
• The Catalyst WBC Project Manager
• 1 representative from The Catalyst

• Scholarship Application published by The Catalyst via Microsoft Forms November 30, 2021
• Scholarship Application due by 11:59 PM Central Time on April 15, 2022
• Prerequisites for Applicants verified by 5:00 PM Central Time on April 22, 2022
• Business Pitches Completed by 5:00 PM Central Time on May 4, 2022
• Scholarship Winner decided by Scholarship Committee by 5:00 PM Central Time on May 6, 2022
• Scholarship Winner announced during JLH Annual Celebration on May 9, 2022
