The BIRTHday Books Committee works closely with Huntsville Hospital Foundation to deliver a book to every child born in Huntsville and Madison Hospital, including babies in the NICU. The committee prepares the BIRTHday books bags, which contain a copy of Goodnight Moon, information on the importance of reading to children and literacy resources, as well as information about infant dental care. The bags are delivered monthly to Huntsville Hospital and Madison Hospital. Our committee packs and delivers over 1200 bags each year to the hospitals.
