JLH Installs New Officers

The Junior League of Huntsville is proud to recognize the installation of its officers for the 2015-2016 year. Following a new leadership structure recommended by the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., JLH officers will sit on either the Board of Directors or the Management Team. The Board will focus on League strategy while the Management Team executes daily business for its membership.

“A new Junior League year brings new opportunities and the amazing women of the Junior League of Huntsville are ready to embrace them,” said new President Elizabeth Abney. “The theme of the 2015-2016 League year is ‘A Legacy of Leadership: Here for Good.’ The JLH has been part of building a better community and making lasting community change for over 65 years. We honor the legacy of the members who have gone before us,” she said, “and we continue their tradition of civic service and leadership development as we do our part to make a lasting impact on this vibrant community we call home.”
