Butterfly Project Dress Drive

Tomorrow is the day to donate your dress for an excellent cause. 8am – 12 pm and 4pm – 8pm at the JLH Office!

Do you have an evening gown or prom dress collecting dust in your closet? You can make a difference in the life of a deserving high school student or spouse of a wounded warrior by donating it at our dress drive Thursday. The drive benefits the Butterfly Project and the Semper Fi Community Task Force for the Heroes Week Military Ball.

“The mission of the Butterfly Project is to empower and reward deserving girls, and one aspect is to give them a prom night transformation to ensure their night is memorable,” said Rebecca Winters, Butterfly Project chair. “It seemed fitting to partner with the Semper Fi Community Task Force to empower, encourage and recognize women wounded warriors and their spouses/caregivers with a beautiful dress.”

Thank you Anna Claire Vollers and AL.com for your article on the dress drive. You can read it here.
