Request for Assistance

Community Partnership Request for Assistance Application:

The Junior League of Huntsville (JLH) places trained volunteers with selected community partners in support of our current area of focus or Impact Area.  Current Impact Areas include: Education, Health, Women and Children.  Each year, the JLH will review, accept and adopt new placements to begin the following June.  Final placement determinations are voted on by the JLH membership and are based on JLH’s mission, impact area, measurable community impact, membership interest and available JLH resources.  JLH placements typically run from June through May.  Grants have historically ranged from $1,000 to $7,000 and a typical placement consists of 8-20 volunteers organized by a committee chair and co-chair.  JLH will accept applications that are completed and submitted to the JLH by 5:00 pm on October 31, 2013.   Please click here to download the current application.
