The Junior League of Huntsville celebrated 60 years of service to our community in 2009. Originally founded as the Grace Club Auxiliary in 1949, we officially became a Junior League in 1975. On July 21, 1975, the Grace Club Auxiliary became a member of the Association of Junior Leagues, Inc. The Junior League of Huntsville is the 228th member of the Association.

Over the years the Junior League of Huntsville has been involved in numerous projects ranging from organizing Panoply for the Arts, establishing the Volunteer Center and most recently building the Tennessee Valley Family Services/Junior League Teen Shelter and Jane K. Lowe Teen Shelter. Members have dedicated valuable time and knowledge to positively impact our community and will continue to provide leadership and focus for the future.
